OK so we recently had a huge liquidation sale here in Reno and I got a 10 in P1 and a 800w amp along with a standard box so it would fit in the rear of my Z. by the time I figured out that I needed to run the power wire through the holes in the frame then through the rubber plug in my floor-board I had already had everything else in place and perfect timing!!!! I placed the amp and speaker in the rear(A.K.A. Trunk, but more like a cup holder). I played with all the settings till I found what sounded good to me. and now I have a really good sounding system IN MY CAR(you can hear it from outside "my car" but not inside your house). now dont get me wrong here I also put in a 4 ch amp for 2 sets of 6x9's(mid and rear) that gives me full sound quality! this is not just that stupid mono and deep sub that everyone else has this is a big boy car and I wanted big boy sound! I will be posting pics soon! I now play rap music at every stop sign/light and parking lot I arrive at. my normal music sounds great too. if you are going to do something like this do it the right way so it doesnt become one of those thing you "just did" to your car spend a little extra $$$ and make it something you can enjoy for a lifetime!!!!

about a 18 pack of my fav beer
45 min of my buddies time (the rest of it he watched me and drank my beer)
Other
$50-60 for stupid stuff I fixed along the way(junk yard parts like seat belt loops and plastic plugs)
Reason!!!!!
my car sounded like crap(the radio) after removing my interior and head unit I found that they ran all 6 speakers(front mid & rear) off 2 speaker leads they did at least run neg to pos for some bridging but still!!!!
WHO DOES THIS? once I finally decided what I was going to do I went back to the store(not my car obviously) and got what else I needed. I rewired all speakers and removed what the idiots put in!!!!
